We assemble high quality precision electronic components for our customers with all necessary tooling and equipment for press fit assembly.

ESP provides design to production of connector assemblies and specialized press-fit needs.  Based on compliant termination, these contacts are designed for two ranges of PCB thickness of 2.4 to 4.5 and 4.5 to 6.5mm.  Nonstandard thicknesses are also available.

Press-fit connectors offer a large number of advantages:

• No costly manual soldering
• No solder bridges due to solder-free press-fit connection.

• Shroud makes stand-offs unnecessary
• Secure assembly of shroud and board by over pressing on the connector tails.

The press-fit concept enables a solder-free connection to the PCB. Press-fit contacts are available for both straight-through male and female connectors.
